Naira Noor, the well-known singer who won the title of Bulbul-e-Pakistan, has passed away. His age was 72 years. His funeral prayers will be offered in Karachi this afternoon.
In the year 2005, he was awarded the Presidential Medal for Excellence by the Government of Pakistan. Years ago, he stopped singing, but his songs and ghazals remained popular and well-known in all eras.
