PEMRA has banned live broadcast of Imran Khan's speech

The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority has banned the live broadcast of former Prime Minister Imran Khan's speeches on the country's media.

PEMRA issued a detailed notification late on Saturday night. In the notification issued by PEMRA, it has been said that Imran Khan is disturbing public order. PEMRA has banned the live broadcast of Imran Khan's speeches under Section 27 of the 2002 Ordinance. It should be noted that Imran Khan had threatened the police and magistrates of the capital while talking about the alleged torture of his party leader Shehbaz Gul during a rally in Islamabad on Saturday night. Will do the case. The PEMRA notification said that Imran Khan is spreading hatred by making baseless allegations against state institutions in his inflammatory speeches. It has been said that such speeches are in violation of Article 19.

PEMRA also quoted a few lines from Imran Khan's Saturday night speech as an example where he conveys a message to police officials and magistrates that he will file a case against them.
