Gorakh Hill has a height (of 5,688 feet and 1,734 meters) situated in the Province of Sindh, Pakistan, which is considered a hill station. It is located 93 km northwest of Dadu city or about 500 km from Karachi. Gorakh Hill extends over 2500 acres. The plateau also works as the gateway for the villagers of the Khuzdar district of Balochistan, which comes to Wahi Pindi village in the Khirthar area of Sindh.
Only 4x4 vehicles can be reached Gorakh hill. The last small town before Gorakh hill is Wahi Pandi, which is located at the foot of Kirthar. The road turns the mountain and when the yarrow enters the Para, the milestone of 53 km slowly climbs.
After crossing the river 2500 feet (760 meters) above sea level, the journey continues in the mountains and reaches the base camp of another tallest pass of the Kirthar Range at a milestone of 76 km. It is known as Dara Khanwal (KP) at a height of 3,000 feet (910 meters) and is 5,000 feet (1,500 meters) above sea level at the top of the KP. The distance between KP Base Camp and KPTop is four kilometers.
The four-kilometer journey is very crooked. After reaching the top of the KP, the drive continues to the top of Gorakh hill, which is 13 km ahead. There is a small rest house on the top of the hill, which is the only facility available so far.
