According to reports, "Lemon 8" is an image-based application similar to Instagram and Pinterest and also features Tik Tok-like videos. The main feed of "Lemon 8" has two types of features, one is the "Following" section where users can see the content of the content creators they are following, while the other section is four-you where other posts are located.

According to media reports, this application also has an option in which content from different categories like fashion, beauty, and food can be viewed. Like TikTok and other social media sites, "Lemon 8" also requires access to users' basic data. such as IP address, browsing history, device identity fire, and other information.
It should be noted that "Lemon 8" was first introduced to the Asian market in 2020. According to app review company Data.AI, the app was well-received in Thailand and Japan, where it had 100,000 users respectively. There are around 74 lakh and 50 lakh downloads.
