Farah Abu Adeela, a US Jordanian contestant from Illinois, emerged as the winner of the Miss Arab USA beauty pageant held in Arizona over the weekend.
The pageant, organized by The Arab American Organization (AAO), aims to promote the cause of young ladies of Arab descent. After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual event returned in 2022.
As a model, Farah Abu Adeela will now assume the title of Miss Arab USA, succeeding last year's winner, Moroccan American Marwa Lahlou.
Unlike some other beauty pageants, the Miss Arab USA pageant does not include a swimsuit category. Instead, its focus is on selecting an honorable Arab young lady to represent Arab culture in the US and globally for a year.
The pageant's finale in Arizona showcased the talent, beauty, and cultural pride of Arab American contestants, celebrating their heritage and achievements.
