According to the details, the residents of the federal capital Islamabad have got 5 holidays together. In connection with Ashura, July 28 and 29 are public holidays across the country, including Islamabad, while July 30 will be Sunday's weekly holiday.
Now, on the occasion of the visit of the Vice Prime Minister of China to Pakistan, the administration of Islamabad has announced public holidays on July 31 and August 1 in the federal capital. Thus, the residents of Islamabad have got 5 holidays together from July 28 to August 1.
According to the district administration of Islamabad, strict security arrangements will be made in Islamabad on the occasion of the Chinese Vice Prime Minister's visit to Pakistan, all educational institutions and offices of the federal capital will be closed on July 30 and August 1.
A summary has been sent to the Federal Ministry of Home Affairs for 2 public holidays, after which a notification will be issued soon.
