Denmark has decided to enact new legislation aimed at declaring the Qur'an an illegal and punishable offense to burn and desecrate in public places۔
Denmark's Justice Minister Peter Hamlgard said at a press conference that the government had decided to introduce a new law that violates any religion and the sacred goods associated with it or Desecration will be banned۔
The Danish Minister of Justice added that the enactment of this law would lead to a punishable offense of desecration of religion and sacred goods, punishable by 2 years in prison and a fine May be۔
The Minister of Justice also acknowledged that the desecration of the Qur'an was against insulting acts and the interests of Denmark۔ The violent and religious sentiments of burning the Qur'an cannot see the movement being touched on the hand۔
