Because of security concerns on the occasion of the general elections 2024, mobile phone and internet services have been temporarily suspended across Pakistan's major cities.
According to the sources, the service is suspended in different areas of Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar, the citizens are facing difficulties when the mobile service is affected.
Apart from this, mobile phone and internet service is affected in Multan, and mobile service is affected in Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, and Abbottabad.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior has said that it has been decided to temporarily suspend the mobile service across the country.
As a result of the recent incidents of terrorism in the country, precious lives have been lost, and security measures are essential to maintain the law and order situation and deal with potential threats.
