Mandviwala Entertainment, best known for the recent distribution of the blockbuster 'The Legend of Moulajit', has signed a deal to act as the local distributor for 'The Glass Worker'.
"'The Glassworker' is finally coming out and we are excited to release our first film in cinemas across Pakistan this summer."
The Glassworker is a work of art created by Usman Riaz and Manu Animation Studios and brought to Pakistani cinemas for audiences to enjoy in Urdu and English titles.
"The Glassworker" has already attracted global attention, having been screened during a special screening at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
"A preview of The Glassworker was shown at Cannes in 2023 and received an 80-minute presentation for 'Work in Progress in Annecy' at the Annecy International Animation Festival in 2022.
'The Stand Glassmaker' was a traditional animated film as each frame was drawn and painted by hand. He added that there was a lot of art and work that went into every second of the film, not just in the visuals, but also in the sound design and orchestral music. "It's been a labor of love and I'm excited for audiences to see it on the big screen."
