Asif Rangoonwala is a successful business entrepreneur with interests in the food, property, and sports sectors. He is also deeply involved in philanthropic activities through the Rangoonwala Foundation, established by his late father.
He founded UK-based Eurobuns Limited, a very successful company in the industrial baking sector, which earned him the Queen's Award. The company was sold in May 2008 to Lantmannen Unibake.
As Chairman of the Rangoonwala Foundation, Asif oversees the charity, which provides vocational training, medical centers, libraries, and other educational and life-enhancing facilities for marginalized communities around the world.
He is also a fellow of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Trustee and Governor of the Whitefield Development Trust, Governor and Vice President of Coram, Trustee of The British Pakistan Foundation, Trustee of Habib University Trust, and Chairman of the World Memon Foundation.
