The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has warned about the weather during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha holiday. They say that rain, wind, dust storms, and thunderstorms might happen in several areas, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, South Punjab, and parts of Sindh.
Because of this weather, the NDMA advises people to be ready for possible floods and landslides, especially in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galliyat, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. They want everyone to take safety steps during the holiday.
The NDMA has also made an app called “PAK-NDMA Disaster Alert.” This app gives real-time alerts, advisories, and tips to help people stay informed and prepared for disasters.
