Justin Timberlake arrested for 'driving while intoxicated,' authorities confirmed.
The singer, often known as the 'Prince of Pop,' was dining with friends in Long Island, New York state, before being pulled over after leaving a restaurant.
According to a statement from the Suffolk County district attorney's office, the 43-year-old was expected to be arraigned later on Tuesday in Sag Harbor, at the eastern end of Long Island.
Representatives for Timberlake did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Sag Harbor, a coastal village in the Hamptons, is approximately 100 miles (160km) from New York City and attracts wealthy visitors during the summer.
