Government of Sindh, Governor announced Rs 5 crore 10 lakh reward for Arshad Nadeem

After Arshad Nadeem’s incredible success at the Olympics, where he secured the gold medal with a 92.97-meter javelin throw, the Sindh government and Governor Kamran Tessori have announced rewards to honor him.

Murtaza Wahab, the spokesperson for the Sindh government and Mayor of Karachi, took to social media to announce a prize of Rs. 5 crore for Arshad Nadeem. Wahab praised Arshad, calling him a hero and highlighting his achievement as the longest throw in the Olympics so far. He also mentioned that a sports academy will be built in Karachi in Arshad's name to recognize his outstanding performance.

Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, also announced a reward of Rs. 10 lakh for Arshad Nadeem through a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Tessori congratulated Arshad, calling his victory historic and well-deserved.

Additionally, singer and actor Ali Zafar congratulated Arshad Nadeem on his achievement, noting that Arshad broke the Olympic record with his 92.97-meter throw. Ali Zafar also announced a prize of Rs. 1 million for Arshad and urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the government to give due recognition and honor to national heroes like Arshad.

In another gesture of appreciation, the Mayor of Sukkur, Arslan Islam Sheikh, announced that a sports stadium in Sukkur would be named after Arshad Nadeem. He also promised to present Arshad with a gold crown as a symbol of the city’s admiration for his Olympic victory.
