In a wonderful presentation at the principal Worldwide Atomic Science Olympiad (INSO-2024) held in the Philippines, the Pakistani group made extraordinary progress by winning two silver and two bronze medals.
Details indicate that Subhan Kashif from Lahore Grammar School and Suleman Nouman from Siddeeq Public School in Islamabad received silver medals. On the other hand, Ehban Awan of Karachi Grammar School and Qasim Salam of Siddeeq Public School Rawalpindi were the winners of bronze medals.
Pakistan Foundation of Designing and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), the highest-level designing college of the Pakistan Nuclear Energy Commission (PAEC), chose understudies from everywhere in the country after thorough tests and examinations.
Subsequently, they were prepared at PIEAS under their coaches Dr. Sajjad Tahir from PIEAS and Dr. Muhammad Maqsood from the Training Directorate of PAEC, and prepared to partake in the said Olympiad.
INSO-2024 held in Clark, Philippines from August 01-06, 2024, was supported by the Worldwide Nuclear Energy Office (IAEA) and other Global establishments.
For outstandingly representing the nation on the international stage, the winning students, their parents, teachers from their respective institutes, and mentors from PIEAS and PAEC deserve praise.
It is relevant to refer to here that other than winning these decorations, understudies from Pakistan have as of late won awards in the Global Physical Science, Science, Science, and Math Olympiads, independently, carrying trees to the country while the most recent progress in the field of Atomic Science is a plume in the nation's cap.
