Pakistan – Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace be Upon Him), marking the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is being celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious fervor across Pakistan and around the world on Tuesday.
In Islamabad, the day began with a 31-gun salute, while a 21-gun salute was held in all provincial capitals to honor the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The federal government has declared a public holiday for educational institutions and government offices to allow people to participate in the celebrations.
Special gatherings were held in mosques to reflect on the teachings of Islam and to pray for a united, progressive, and welfare-focused Muslim community.
In celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), streets, roads, markets, and buildings are adorned with colorful lights, decorations, and banners. Various events such as processions, seminars, conferences, and discussion programs have been organized throughout the country to commemorate this significant religious occasion.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.S), the last Prophet of Islam, was born in Mecca in 570 CE. His life and teachings have profoundly influenced human history, shaping the faith and values of millions globally. He preached monotheism, emphasizing the oneness of God and the importance of surrendering to Allah’s will. His teachings highlighted compassion, mercy, justice, equality, honesty, and respect for human life and dignity. He also advocated for the rights of women in Islam.
