The government, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has decided to help people struggling with high prices by lowering fuel costs. This change starts on September 16 and will last for two weeks.
Here’s how the prices are changing:
- The price of petrol will go down by Rs10 per liter. So, petrol will now cost Rs249.10 per liter.
- The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) will drop by Rs13.6 per liter, making it Rs249.69 per liter.
- The price of kerosene oil will be reduced by Rs11.15 per liter, bringing it down to Rs158.47 per liter.
This price cut is meant to offer some relief to people as fuel costs worldwide keep changing.
