The federal government has lowered the prices of petroleum products by up to Rs. 3.57 per liter, effective from midnight tonight.
The price of petrol has been cut by Rs. 2.07 per liter, reducing it from Rs. 249.10 to Rs. 247.03 per liter.
High-speed diesel has seen a decrease of Rs. 3.40 per liter, bringing the new price down from Rs. 249.69 to Rs. 246.29 per liter.
Light diesel's price has dropped by Rs. 1.03 per liter, now costing Rs. 140.90 instead of Rs. 141.93. Kerosene prices have been reduced by Rs. 3.57 per liter, making the new price Rs. 154.90.
From June 1 to October 1, 2024, petrol prices have fallen by a total of Rs. 21.23 per liter, while diesel prices have dropped by Rs. 18.67 per liter.
These new prices will start from midnight tonight. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ensured that the public will benefit from these reductions.
