Khamenei Declares Missile Attack on Israel 'Legal and Legitimate'

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, labeled a recent missile attack on Israel as a “legal and legitimate” response while condemning Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states as “traitors.” This marked Khamenei’s first public address in nearly five years, attracting thousands of worshippers in Tehran.

Describing the missile strike as “minimum punishment” for Israel, Khamenei urged Muslim nations to unite against the Israeli state. He emphasized that Iran will neither delay nor rush its commitment to confronting Israel.

Khamenei reassured fighters in Lebanon and Palestine, encouraging them to remain resilient in the face of bloodshed. He claimed that Israel's capacity to inflict harm is minimal, even on groups like Hezbollah and Hamas, thereby reinforcing Iran's role in supporting its allies in the region.
