Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 14 series, which includes three models, all featuring a 50MP main camera. However, a new report from XiaomiTime, a community site, suggests that the global version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will have a 200MP main camera.
This global model will replace the 50MP OVX8000 sensor found in the Chinese version with a Samsung 200MP ISOCELL HP3 sensor. However, some features will be downgraded. For instance, the Chinese model’s 50MP JN1 telephoto lens will be replaced with a 2MP OV02B10 macro camera in the global version, which means less zoom capability. Interestingly, the Indian version of the Note 14 Pro+ will keep the same camera setup as the Chinese model.
