Pakistan and Russia have signed eight important agreements aimed at strengthening their trade and economic ties. The agreements were finalized during the 9th session of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) held in Moscow.
A Pakistani delegation, led by Minister for Energy Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, took part in the talks. The minister highlighted that the cooperation between Pakistan and Russia is growing steadily, and these new agreements will help further improve collaboration in various fields.
The agreements cover a wide range of areas, including industrial cooperation and the production of insulin.
One key agreement is a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between New Tech, a Pakistani company, and a Russian university. This MoU aims to promote academic and technological exchange between the two countries. Additionally, agreements were made between Russia’s educational institutions, COMSAT, and Peshawar University to enhance educational ties.
These agreements are seen as a step forward in deepening the relationship between Pakistan and Russia.
