ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) negotiation team has received permission to meet party founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, sources confirmed on Thursday.
The committee will meet Imran Khan at 2:00 pm today and will brief him on the first round of talks with the government.
Who Is in the PTI Negotiation Team?
The PTI negotiation team includes:
- Umar Ayub
- Ali Amin Gandapur
- Salman Akram Raja
- Asad Qaiser
- Sahibzada Hamid Raza
- Hamid Khan
- Allama Raja Nasir Abbas
The PTI chairman, Barrister Gohar is also expected to meet Imran Khan. Advocate Faisal Chaudhry will join to provide legal assistance.
First Round of Talks Concludes
Earlier in the day, the first round of talks between the federal government and PTI ended with both sides agreeing to continue discussions in the future. The next meeting is scheduled for January 6, 2025.
The discussions were held at the Parliament House, chaired by National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.
