Several Muslim countries have expressed support for Hamas’ partial acceptance of US President Donald Trump’s plan to end the conflict in Gaza. According to the Foreign Office, eight nations collaborated with the Trump administration on the proposal.

These countries include Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt. The foreign ministers from these nations praised Hamas’ willingness to release hostages and engage in negotiations to implement the plan.

While Hamas agreed to some terms of the Trump plan, it did not accept all conditions, particularly those concerning disarmament, and stated it would continue discussions on the outstanding issues.

The foreign ministers also backed Trump’s call for Israel to immediately halt its bombing of Gaza. They welcomed the plan’s provisions for exchanging prisoners and hostages, viewing these steps as a genuine opportunity to achieve a ceasefire and address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Hamas further announced its readiness to transfer Gaza’s administration to a temporary committee of independent Palestinian technocrats. The Muslim countries stressed the urgency of initiating negotiations to ensure the plan’s effective implementation.
