The 56-year-old Morning Show star was one of the evening’s honorees and wore a look that highlighted her timeless style.
She chose a vintage black Ralph Lauren dress with a halter neckline and a subtle shimmer, giving it an elegant and romantic feel. Her hair was styled in her signature middle part, sleek and golden, falling just past her shoulders.
The choice of Ralph Lauren seemed to pay homage to Rachel Green, who worked as a buyer for the designer on Friends. Aniston has often talked about the nostalgia surrounding the character, especially her iconic hairstyle.
She recently spoke about the famous choppy shoulder-length cut, known as “the Rachel,” saying it “had a beautiful six months that’s lasted 30 years.” In a 2013 interview with Marie Claire, she also admitted that “’The Rachel’ was horrible and high maintenance,” even though it stayed popular for decades.
Although Aniston posed alone on the red carpet, her boyfriend, hypnotherapist Jim Curtis, was expected to attend the event with her.
People magazine confirmed their relationship in July. A source recently shared that Aniston is “very happy and in a great place” with Curtis. They said, “She’s been glowing. Everything in her life has come together, and she’s excited about it. Jim’s the best.”
The source added that Curtis is “fascinated by her career — both as an actress and businesswoman — and loves being by her side to support her.” They said he fits well into her social circle, and their relationship “feels light, natural, and really good,” which is “exactly where she wants to be right now.”
