
Light and heavy rainfall was reported in different parts of Islamabad, leading the district administration to take quick action.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Irfan Memon instructed all assistant commissioners to go into the field and check the situation in their areas. The goal is to manage any problems during the rain without delay.

Officials have been told to keep a close watch on low-lying areas and water channels where water can collect easily. They have also been asked to make sure that rainwater does not enter residential areas or cause traffic problems.

The DC also directed sanitation teams to start drainage work immediately. These teams are working to remove water from roads and streets and keep the drainage system running properly.

Authorities said they are continuously monitoring the situation across the city. The administration is tracking rainfall and response efforts to keep daily life normal and reduce trouble for residents.
