Bangladesh Sets 291-Run Target for Pakistan in Final ODI

Today, Bangladesh Sets 291 Run Target for Pakistan in the third and deciding One Day International (ODI) of the series.

The match is taking place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first.

Batting first, Bangladesh scored 290 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 50 overs. Tanzid Hasan was the star for Bangladesh, scoring 107 runs. Litton Das added 41, Saif Hassan made 36, and captain Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 27. Rashid Hossain was dismissed without scoring.

For Pakistan, Haris Rauf was the best bowler, taking 3 wickets, while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Abrar Ahmed took 1 wicket each.

Now, Pakistan needs 291 runs to win the match and take the series.

In the second ODI on Friday, Pakistan had made a strong comeback, winning by 128 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method after rain interrupted the match.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 274 runs in 47.3 overs. Bangladesh’s innings was reduced to 32 overs, and they needed 243 runs to win. However, Pakistan’s bowlers dominated, and Bangladesh was bowled out for 114 runs in 23.3 overs, giving Pakistan a comfortable victory and leveling the series.
